Angel |
Situation in Hellhttp://www.eng.a-n-g-e-l.info/index/bible/74/ Probably, friends, you've seen scenes of tormented sinners in hell painted on icons: deuces are frying the offenders in frying pans, boiling them in tanks filled with tar and imposing other terrible penalties upon infidels. And also it implies that all of that is happening in some other world, the world which is under Satan's rule. But here is what the Bible says about the place where the rebelled angel is: "... Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and in the sea! For the Devil came down to you, having great wrath..." (The Bible, New Testament, Revelation, chapter 12, verse 12). By deception the devil seized power on the Earth, profiting by the fall of its former masters - Adam and Eve. Fortunately, the Holy Scripture encourages us that his rule here is temporary. But for now, and you can easily become certain of this, we don't have paradisiacal, but devilish, hellish life, "...all the world lies in evil" (The Bible, New Testament, First Epistle of John, chapter 5, verse 19). Just look around - can anything be worse than that surrounding us: deceit, diseases, violence, poverty, stealing, rudeness, political, economical, ecological instability, lawlessness, and at last - death? But it's true that some people enjoy life like that, seasoned with sinful pleasures. However, those are miserable people. Thirsting badly, they gulp sand, they cannot even imagine that there is something better. But to those who seek an alternative to abiding in this earthly hell, our Heavenly Savior proposes to change our citizenship. You can make the first step right now! Rejecting Satan's citizenship ask Jesus Christ to become your President, your God, your Savior! He is waiting for you: "...the one who comes to Me I will in no way cast out..." (The Bible, New Testament, Gospel according to John, chapter 6, verse 37). And you can get more detailed explanations and concrete help in the earthly embassy of the Heavenly Kingdom - the Church, founded by Christ and guided by nothing but the Bible.
